Setting up an Angular 2 Environment

Before we begin, we need to do some initial setup.

1. Install NodeJS from NodeJS.org.

2. At the command prompt, type “npm install -g typescript“.

3. Once installed, now we need to also install the follow, also in the command prompt. Type “npm install -g typings“.

4. Next, we need an editor. Install Visual Studio Code from here.

5. If you don’t already have it, get the Chrome browser.

6. All set! You can begin on creating an awesome web application. If you need a little more help on taking the next step, take a look at some of the courses on Udemy.com.
